NZ Improv Trust: New Trustees

The NZ Improvisation Trust is thrilled to announce two new board members - Lisa Garrity and Claire Alderton. They join Tai Samaeli and Jennifer O’Sullivan and look forward to working together as a team!

Lisa Garrity is a regular at NZIF and works in sales & marketing in Tāmaki Makaurau. She identifies as a Lebanese/Australian Kiwi, born in Auckland New Zealand, but with her heart firmly planted in Wellington where she lived for 16 years. She performs regularly with Waiheke Comedy and recently finished a sell out season of The Real Housewives of Oneroa. She brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for our industry and our artists, and we are stoked to have her on board.

Claire Alderton has been doing improv/street theatre on and off for the past 25 years, first in the UK and now in New Zealand primarily with WIT in Wellington. She has a huge amount of board experience, having started and sold five (5!) businesses, and mentoring business owners through Covid and challenging economic times. She also has experience in film and television, and enjoys surfing, skiing, and other adventures.
