This workshop provides you with the opportunity to analyse your vocal strengths and weaknesses, learning how to work with and improve on them. You will learn techniques to improve your vocal strength, quality and stamina. The workshop also teaches how to approach learning a new accent, with an opportunity to try two varied accents. Everything that has been gained in the session will then be applied to script work.

Hilary Norris is a professional actor, director and teacher. She instigated drama classes for all ages at the Fortune Theatre Dunedin and taught both there and at High School level for 20 years. Hilary has worked extensively in the area of vocal coaching; both in the area of one on one voice production and as a dialect and accent coach for film and stage; and has run numerous workshops for Theatre societies. She has coached non actors in presentation and vocal skills work. She has narrated books for children, radio drama and voiced adverts.
