Wiremu Tuhiwai

Wiremu Tuhiwai

Be reminded of the joy when it comes to make-believe through physical games and exercises. Free up your imagination and become bolder with your physicality, with characters, with the general play in supporting your own ideas, as well as your partner’s ideas in a scene. The lineage of bold, fun and play must continue!

Wiremu Tuhiwai is a teacher, entertainer, and passionate lover of improvisation based here in Wellington. Teaching numerous levels of improvisation from adult evening classes for beginners, through to teaching brand new formats performed for the first time at the NZ Improv Festival alongside international performers.

He has performed with some of the nation’s best, with the Wellington Improvisation Troupe, Best on Tap, and the Soap Factory here in Wellington to Scared Scriptless with the Court Jesters in Christchurch, Spontaneous in Palmerston North, and The Deep End in Nelson.
