Australia’s Ladies put on a musical treat for Wellingtonians

Unchained stories… Unchained melodies… Unleashed anarchy…

Travelling from Sydney, Australia for the New Zealand Improvisation Festival 2015 are Linette Voller, Anne Wilson and Linda Calgaro in Lady Fingers. On Wednesday 7 October at 6.30pm at BATS Theatre, these three talented ladies take to the stage to perform one hour of improvised music, movement and theatricality.

Three ladies, 30 fingers, multiple skills, and one purpose; Lady Fingers aims to delight and entertain those cheeky enough to create trouble with these three mischief makers. This peformance focuses on character based scenic improvisation where storylines may cross, characters may disappear or return. Audiences can expect an interactive 50 minute show featuring multiple characters, songs improvised in acappella, clowning, playfulness and delight.

This passionate group of improvisors endeavour is to not just be three people standing on a stage talking. Lady Fingers is an experimental improvisation trio that incorporate music, movement and theatricality into their improvised shows.

Thus far the trio have performed 10 shows to date and look forward to travelling to Wellington to perform for the first time in the New Zealand Improvisation Festival 2015.
