Spotlight On: Lisa Gebbels, YHA Wellington
When you're bringing people together from around the country (and around the world), it's important to give them somewhere to sleep at night. That's basic hospitality! And this year we're able to provide, thanks in part to one sponsor who's been with us through thick and thin - YHA Wellington and the wonderful Lisa Gebbels.
Tell us a bit about your company and what you do...
"We provide quality, affordable accommodation for both international travellers and the New Zealand domestic market of all ages. With shared rooms and private rooms with and without ensuite facilities, we can appeal to a wide range of markets and aim to be more than just a bed to our guests and more than just a job to our staff."
Lisa and her team prefer to stick to plans, so we think it's pretty brave to support a festival that likes to run things on the fly! She's most looking forward to seeing The Restaurant directed by Christine Brooks (Tuesday 17 Oct, 9:30pm) - probably because she'll be able to relate to the hospo characters.
Lisa and YHA Wellington (www.yha.co.nz) - we couldn't have done this festival without you! Check out our full programme and book your tickets now at BATS Theatre.
